GIBA calls for police action on attacks on media 

The Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association, GIBA, has appealed to the Police not to be lenient with anyone who attacks a media organisation and assaults guests and programme presenters. 

This is because such behaviours have the tendency to embolden others to flout the laws.

In an interview, the Vice President of GIBA, Samuel Atta Mensah,said the Police must be firm in dealing with such people in the name of national security.
