3rd USAID-FINGAP Agric-business summit ends in Accra The 3rd USAID - FINGAP Agric-business Summit has ended in Accra with a challenge to farmers, processors and all involved in the Agric-business value chain to be more innovative. They should also be bold to explore the scientific knowledge and technologies as well as financial opportunities available to expand their businesses. Panelists at the end of the Business To Business Interaction Session between farmer based organisations, SME's, Business Advisory Service providers and Financial institutions in the country, asked African farmers to embrace the risk in Agric-business to end poverty and hunger on the continent. This was captured by the Chief of Party of USAID Ghana ,Wolta Nunez who asked farmers and other stakeholders to take advantage of the USAID-FINGAP window of opportunities. The Managing Director of Agriccare one of the major feed millers in Ghana, William Awuku Ahiadormey shared his success story after receiving support from USAID-FINGAP. GBC
