DAILY GRAPHIC:The Daily Graphic lauds the EC's efforts at becoming the benchmark for elections in Africa. However in the paper's view, beyond the Commission's quest to become a well trusted body, it must go beyond public relations gimmicks and move into action. The Graphic says as a matter of urgency the EC's  Strategic Plan,must primarily seek to deliver and conduct  credible ,independent,trusted,free and fair elections that will satisfy the people.The paper advises the Commission to stay focused on the immediate agenda regarding the upcoming limited Voters registration which is experiencing low publicity.
 
THE GENERAL TELEGRAPH: says whiles new hospitals and the development of health infrastructure are commendable, measures to ensure preventive health care would be better. This is because even after people are treated and cured of their diseases they go back to their communities and are infected all over again which amounts to so much cost and loss of productive hours.
