GIBA condemns attack on panelists at Fox FM The Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association, GIBA, has denounced the attack on its member station, Fox FM on Monday in Kumasi by some assailants during a political discussion program. According to a statement issued in Accra by the Executive Council, the association called on the Police to treat such incidents as criminal acts and move to prosecute offenders. The statement reminded the public to be tolerant of opposing views and its members to be mindful of the Association's Code of Conduct and ensure balance and fairness in their reportage and programming. It asked the police to investigate this matter which happened in broad daylight and bring the perpetrators to book. Meanwhile, the Regional Police Command has arrested the Ashanti Regional Communications Director of the NPP for allegedly masterminding the attack. GBC
