Two jailed 36 years for robbery An Accra Circuit Court has sentenced two persons to a total of thirty six years imprisonment for robbery. The convicts Daniel Armah and Bernard Owusu, who are both dancers, were each jailed eighteen years for robbery and conspiracy. The presiding judge Aboagye Tandoh in sentencing the two said the prosecution was able to establish the charge against the convicts. He said robbery is becoming a growing canker and believed the sentence will deter others. The convicts, who wielded a machete, attacked a woman on the 6th of last January at about 9pm at La in Accra. They robbed her of her handbag containing a mobile phone, an ipad and Gh¢ 400 cash. GBC
