President Mahama inaugurates 18.4km road in Ho

President John Mahama, has inaugurated an 18 point four kilometre Vane-Fume- Ho road. 

The road will link economic towns like Tema and Bawku.

It was constructed at a cost of 54 point seven million cedis funded by government. 

The Chief of the Vane Traditional Area, Osie Adza Terkpor, said the reconstruction of the road comes as a great relief as commercial activities in the town and surrounding areas were curtailed. 

He appealed to government to consider an amendment of the constitution that defines the role of Chiefs in the local government system.He said the Amedzofe-Gbadzeme- Vane roads urgently need attention because the roads lead to major tourist sites in the area.
