The Daily Graphic expresses the need for citizens of the country to be law abiding when driving and also exhibit high sense of discipline in the management of the environment to prevent diseases. According to the paper, the country is still grappling with diseases such as cholera due to poor attitude towards the environment. It attributes the traffic jams on the roads to bad attitude of some drivers. The paper calls on government to make the laws on sanitation and roads safety very effective to save lives.

The Ghanaian Times commends NADMO for being forthright in admitting that the organisation lacks the necessary resources to handle disaster. The paper says NADMO was frank to admit that it does not have enough relief items to supply victims in times of disaster because it owes suppliers more than 40 million cedis and this is affecting the operations of the organisation. According to the paper, NADMO has come out to sell its illness and it is now time to get the appropriate remedy. The Times appeals to government to immediately resource NADMO before the rains set in. 
                        
The Daily Heritage advises political parties not to be deceived by the huge crowds that follow them during rallies but be able to achieve their manifesto promises. The paper cites unemployment, high cost of living, the energy crisis and high tax as the core problems facing the people. According to the paper, when all these fundamental issues are well dealt with that political parties can lay claim to the Flagstaff House.
