Judicial service running weak financial system - PAC

The Judicial Service is said to be running a very weak financial system that undermines the Financial Administration Regulation and the Procurement Act.

Until recently there was no accounting function at the Judicial Service. 

These came up today when the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament examined the books of the Judicial Service. 

The Committee sat in camera because according to the Chairman of the Committee, Kweku Agyeman Manu, the infractions were mind-boggling hence the decision to hear them in camera.

Mr. Agyeman Manu later briefed the Parliamentary Press Corp.
