Dr. Johnson Asiama is 2nd Deputy Governor of Bank of Ghana

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Dr. Johnson P. Asiama as the Second Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG).

Dr. Asiama until his elevation, was the Assistant Director at the Economics Department of the Bank where he coordinated the work of the Monetary Policy Committee and supported the work of the Governors directly.

His appointment takes effect from 5th April, 2016.
