MoneyGram rewards seven banks MoneyGram has rewarded Ecobank Ghana Limited, Societal General Ghana, Ghana Commercial Bank and Agricultural Development Bank for their contribution to its 2015 achievements at the 3rd Front Line Agents Conference for MoneyGram’s top transacting agents. Access Bank won both the Best Compliance Support Partner Award, and the Best Marketing Support Partner Award; Global Access won the Top Location in Ghana award; while GCB won again the Most Activated Agent Location Award; and Stanbic Bank the Fastest Growing Agent Award. MoneyGram offers worldwide money transfer services in more than 200 countries and territories through a global network of 350,000 agent locations, including retailers, international post offices and banks. Mrs. Grace Boateng of Global Access Old Tafo branch was adjudged the Best MoneyGram Ambassador. Mrs Kemi Okusanya, MoneyGram Regional Director for Anglophone West Africa addressing the 2016 Front Line Agents (FLA) Conference tagged the agents to partners in delivering quality service to customers. She said FLAs play critical role in any company’s internal and external relations especially with customers, stressing that the 21st Century company development hinges largely on the performance of front line agents. The FLA Conference, which was started in 2013, is now a big event with agents being rewarded for their hard work, diligence and compliance to MoneyGram service level agreement. About 150 MoneyGram front line Ambassadors from more than 20 banks participated in 2016 FLA Conference. Mrs Okusanya also touted the contribution of MoneyGram Front Line Agents to increase MoneyGram’s transaction volumes. She promised to continue supporting partner agents and ambassadors to achieve their remittance goals. Mrs Okusanya also expressed MoneyGram’s gratitude to the ambassadors for working to achieve increased transaction volume in 2015. At the 2016 FLA Conference created a platform for the front line agents to share ideas and views on improving MoneyGram’s service and compliance regulations. MoneyGram Executive Team promised to revert on some of the issues raised at the programme with the individual banks.
