700 students from 3 Colleges face dismissal 

Seven hundred Agricultural students from three colleges, Ohawu, Ejura and Pong-Tamale are facing dismissal for what the authorities describe as dishonest receiving and indiscipline. 

The students whose allowances had delayed for more than two years received an initial payment of almost nine thousand cedis each from the district assembly and subsequently received another eleven thousand each from the Ministry of Food and Agriculture. 

However, it later turned out that the initial nine thousand was wrongfully paid to the students. 

School authorities have asked the students to refund the money within 20 days or be handed over to the BNI. 

Already the students have been stopped from attending classes due to their inability to refund the money. 

The students are appealing to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture to intervene whiles they look for money to pay the balance.
