Gitmo Detainees Saga: Nana denies being ‘consulted’ 

The office of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo has denied  the  US Ambassador to Ghana's claim that he was 'consulted' two weeks before the arrival of the two Guantanamo Bay detainees in Ghana. 

A statement signed by his Press Secretary, Eugene Arhin said at no point during the negotiations between the government of Ghana and the US government was Nana Akufo-Addo consulted.
