Ashanti Regional Minister hopeful of better exam results

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Alexander John Ackon, has expressed optimism that candidates sitting for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in the region will come out with flying colours. 

The Minister made the remark after visiting some WASSCE centres in the Amansie West District of Ashanti. 

Briefing the media, Mr. Ackon, who was accompanied by the Ashanti Regional Director of Education, Mary Owusu Achiaw and the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area, Kwame Bonsu advised the candidates to put in their best for optimum results. 

He was happy about the gender parity.
