World Down Syndrome Day 2016: Focus on inclusion


Children and adults with Down syndrome should be empowered to contribute to the global common future.

That's the message from the UN Secretary-General on World Down Syndrome Day, observed this Monday, 21 March.

This year's theme looks at the importance of friendship and community.
