Eastern Regional Minister donates computers and accessories to 33 Constituencies The Eastern Regional Minister, Ms Mavis Ama Frimpong, has donated one computer, printer, stabilizer and photocopier each to all the of the 33 constituency offices of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Eastern Region. The gesture was a personal donation to support the party’s 2016 campaign activities. Making the presentation at a National NDC conference in Koforidua, the Minister indicated that the items were to help in the day-to-day administrative work of the party's constituency offices and ensure a reliable data collection. She expressed the hope that the computers and accessories would be a welcome help as the party conducts a parallel registration exercise in the electoral Commission’s upcoming limited registration exercise. Mr Bismark Tawiah Boateng, the Eastern Regional Chairman of the NDC thanked the Minister for her kindness and said the party’s offices at the constituency level, would now be well-equipped for effective campaign. He said “with such a noble support from the Minister we are assured of achieving our 50/50 agenda by winning many parliamentary seats in the November general elections”. GNA
