Parliament passes CI 91 bill

Parliament has passed the Public Elections-Registration of Voters regulations, 2016 CI 91 to mandate the Electoral Commission to register voters and address some anomalies that occurred during the registration of voters for the 2012 general elections. 

The passage of the CI 91 means the revocation of the Public Election regulations 2012, CI 72.

The House passed the Instrument when the Chairman of the Committee on Subsidiary Legislation, O.B Amoah, presented the report of the Committee on the CI.
