Aberdeen University Confers Doctor of Law Degree on President Mahama

The University of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom Friday morning held a special convocation to confer on President John Dramani Mahama an honorary degree of Doctor of Laws (LLD) (Honoris Causa).

The convocation took place at the University’s Kings College.

In attendance were the First Lady, Lordina Mahama, the Foreign Minister, Hanna S. Tetteh (MP), the Communications Minister, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah and the Education Minister Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman.

President Mahama is the second Ghanaian leader, after Former President Jerry John Rawlings, to visit Scotland.
