Suspend ban on raw cashew nut exportation - MPs

Parliament has urged the Ministry of Trade and Industry to suspend the directive banning the export of raw cashew nuts. 

The House made the call when the Member of Parlaiment (MP) for Banda and Deputy Majority Whip, Ahmed Ibrahim made a statement on the Floor on the ordeals of poor cashew farmers in the Brong Ahafo, Northern, Upper East and Upper West Regions. 

The MPs said the order has brought untold hardships to poor cashew farmers.
