PAC Sitting: GYEEDA cited for new malpractices The infractions in the operations of Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Agency, GYEEDA, have resurfaced in Parliament as the Public Accounts Committee |(PAC) interrogates the 2013 Audit report of the Auditor General. The Agency was cited for several malpractices ranging from payment for services but not rendered, over-payment to some companies and unrecovered advance to Zeera Group of companies. Appearing before the Committee were the Minister for Youth and Sports, Nii Lante Vanderpuye, his Deputy, Vincent Oppong Asamoah, the Attorney General and Minister of Justice Marietta Brew Appiah-Oppong. On excess budgetary expenditure, the Agency spent one hundred and ninety nine million Ghana Cedis during the 2012 financial year when it was allocated twenty million Ghana Cedis.
