Platform To Promote Professional Journalism For Good Governance Opens in Accra


A platform to promote the discussion of professional journalism for good governance in West Africa opens this morning March 15, 2016 in Accra. 

The Media Foundation For West Africa is convening the gathering expected to bring together leading free expression and media development  organisations from all ECOWAS member states. 

Civil society groups as well as UN donor agencies will be attending.  

Media Foundation For West Africa says it is critical to empower citizens' access to information so that they can participate meaningfully in their country's democratic processes.
