Health professionals asked to give hope to patients Nurses and other health professionals have been entreated to give hope to their patients by evangelising to them. Christian Nurses especially, must make it a point to pray and intercede for patients who continue to battle with prolonged and deadly diseases. These commitments according to the Nurses' Christian fellowship of Ghana will inspire faith and offer hope for patients on the sick bed. The Director of Nursing, at the 37 Military Hospitals, Colonel Vida Otoo speaking at the launch of the Golden Jubilee of the Fellowship in Accra endorsed the practice of prayer, saying a prayerful health professional can heal a dying patient.
