BNI arrests fugitive on British top ten wanted list


Information reaching Radio Ghana indicates that the Bureau of National Investigations, BNI, has arrested David Philip McDermott who is on the top 10 British list of wanted persons.  

The arrest was on a request from the British Authorities to their counterparts in Ghana. 

The BNI has confirmed that the fugitive is wanted by the British Authorities to stand trial for drug offences. 

Mr McDermott faces extradition to the UK.
