VEEP calls for more investment in quality education

Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur says investment in quality education and skills training provides the best legacy of empowering the youth to contribute to the development and transformation of the country. 

He said the theme for this year's independence celebration "Investment in the youth for Ghana's Transformation" is in line with government's commitment to improving education delivery at all levels for the benefit of the youth, who form the majority of Ghana's population. 

Vice President Amissah-Arthur said this at the President's Independence Day Awards at the Banquet Hall of the state House in Accra.
