Savannah zone needs more interventions - President Mahama President John Dramani Mahama has reiterated government`s commitment to providing the necessary support for the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority SADA to enable the SADA Zone become the gateway to sub- Sahara Africa. He said the intervention to establish SADA was meant to ensure rapid development to close the gap between the south and the north. The President said most social indicators have shown that, the savannah zone still needs more interventions to enable it to bridge this gap. President Mahama was speaking at the “fugu” day celebration in Tamale as part of activities of the 20th Ghana International Trade Fair jointly organised by the Ghana International Trade Fair company and the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority.
