Tariffs and medicines list of NHIS revised 

Tariffs and medicines list of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) have been reviewed.  

Effective Tuesday, clients of the NHIS will pay more for services rendered under the scheme.  

At a media briefing in Accra yesterday , the Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, Nathaniel Otoo said the review is also to curb the unauthorized charging of fees by healthcare providers from NHIS card holders.
