Ghana to participate in a three-nation Boxing Championship in Benin


A contingent of 17 members on Thursday, February 25, left Accra for Benin to participate in a Four-Nation Boxing Championship.

A statement from the Ghana Amateur Boxing Federation (GABF) said the the contingent include boxers, coaches and referees.

It said Gabon will join Ghana and the host for the championship, which is expected to bring out the best materials from the three countries for future international events.

The statement said the event is also to foster friendly relations between the three countries and also to use the opportunity to improve the sport in their respective countries.
