New buildings without right wirings to be disconnected from national grid

From March 1, all new buildings in the capital without the right wiring by certified electricians will not be connected to the national grid. 

This exercise will be undertaken by the Energy Commission. 

The Technical Director of the Commission, Dr. Nii Danku Asante made this known at the 5th Electrical Wiring Certificate Award presentation in Accra. 

The exercise he notes is to rid the system of unprofessional electricians and to protect life and property.
