EC’s Steering Committee: Peace Council explains issues

The Chairman of the National Peace Council, Most Rev. Professor, Emmanuel Asante has been explaining issues concerning the Peace Council's nominee on the EC Steering Committee. 

Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, Rev. Asante maintained that, the Board never received any letter from the EC and Board members were also not informed about any communication from the Electoral Commission. 

He said the EC letter was received by the Executive Secretary of the Council as a personal letter and did not inform the Board to nominate its representative to the EC.
