New skills geared towards technology paramount to survive educational sector

The Acting Dean of the School of Engineering Sciences at the University of Ghana, Professor Samuel Sefa-Dedeh says the current learning competencies Ghana is grappling with does not give hope to the next generation. 

He said structures put in place in the educational sector by successive governments define the current challenges confronting the sector. 

Speaking at the 2nd Nkrumah-Plange-Mensah-Kane-Nelson-Sackeyfio Appreciation lectures in Accra, Professor Sefa- Dedeh said in order for the sector to survive in the future, a visionary new set of skills geared towards technology is paramount.
