Mixed reaction to detention of JB Danquah 'killer' The detention of the alleged murderer of the Akyem Abuakwa North MP for more than 48 hours has raised some eye brow within legal circles. While some have described it as unconstitutional, others think otherwise. A Legal practitioner, Victor Kojoga Adawudu however argues that the Police must send the suspect to court to seek extension for his detention beyond the 48 hour deadline expires. He told Radio Ghana that the Police did not err in detaining him for that long, since weekends are not working days in Ghana. GBC
