Belgium detains 10 for running ISIL recruitment

The police in Belgium have raided homes in Brussels and detained 10 people on suspicion of operating a recruitment ring for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) group. 

A statement by the German Federal Prosecutor's office said nine raids were carried out in four suburbs. 

The statement said the police action has established that several people have probably gone to Syria to join ISIL.
