FDA says investigation shows no proof of millipedes in palm oil

Investigations by the Food and Drugs Authority indicate that there is no proof of millipedes being added to palm oil. 

The Authority has therefore assured the public that palm oil on the market is safe. 

The Head, Food Safety Management Department of the FDA, Maria Lovelace Johnson said this at a News Conference organised by the Palm Oil Development Association at Odorna in Accra.
