Passengers left stranded after Accra bound train derails at Tema

An Accra bound Train from Tema Monday morning derailed about one hundred meters from the Tema Harbour Boarding Station. 

The incident got passengers on-board stranded, compelling them to find alternative means of getting to their destinations. 

A source close to Radio Ghana said the train developed a technical problem and that might have caused the derailment. 

The source said there were 40 passengers on-board.
