Woyome seeks international arbitration over judgement debt

Counsel for Mr Woyome, Ken Awuku has hinted of going to the International Chamber of Commerce Court of Arbitration.

This is to challenge the order for a refund of the 52 million Ghana cedi judgement debt. 

This development is after the Supreme Court unanimously struck out a motion filed by Mr Awuku in support of his counter claim to a writ challenging the court's order.

The writ was subsequently dismissed, necessitating a withdrawal of the motion. 

The Supreme Court slapped Mr Woyome with a Ghc10, 000 cost.
