Sympathizers Troop Murdered Abuakwa North, MP JB Danquah Adu’s Residence at Shiashie Sympathizers have started trooping to the Shiashie residence of the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu, who has been shot dead. Police have begun investigations into the matter. The Abuakwa North MP was the grandson of the doyen of Ghana's politics Dr J. B Danquah, who played a significant role in pre- and post-colonial Ghana. Joseph Danquah Adu, a chartered accountant, would have been 51 in July. He was a Deputy Women and Children’s Affairs Minister in the John Agyekum Kufuor administration. Prior to becoming an MP, he was the Executive Director, Automotive Springs (Ghana) Limited, Accra.
