Abuakwa North MP Joseph Boakye Danquah killed by unknown assailants

Mr. Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu, New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North has been killed by unknown assailants.

Reports reaching Radio Ghana said the incident occurred at dawn on Tuesday, February 9 at his residence. 

However, the police is yet to confirm the incident.

The Abuakwa North MP is the grandson of late J.B Danquah, a Ghanaian statesman, pan-Africanist, scholar and historian, who played a significant role in pre- and post-colonial Ghana.
