The Daily Graphic congratulates Ivor Greenstreet on emerging victorious at the CPP's Presidential Primary over the weekend. According to the Paper, his election is a manifestation of the party's determination to work to deepen multi-party democracy in the country. The Graphic reminds Mr Greenstreet of the responsibility ahead of him as the CPP's presidential candidate for the November 2016 polls. 

The Ghanaian Times says the Attorney-General's report on the arson at the Central Medical stores presents the nation with another opportunity to demonstrate its resolve to fight corruption wherever it occurs. According to the Paper, the country is sliding slowly into an abyss with these heinous crimes perpetrated against the State and its people.
