GES denies giving approval for recruitment of teachers

The Ghana Education Service says it has not given any green light for the recruitment of teachers. 

This follows media reports which quoted a Regional Director saying the service has asked them to recruit new teachers. 

Since then, the offices of the GES have been flooded with people tendering in their applications. 

The service however says no vacancy has been declared.
