Agogo youth resolve to flush out Fulani herdsmen The Agogo Youth Association has warned that the Agogo Traditional Council will not be permitted to hold planned activities to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Nana Akuoko Sarpong as the Paramount Chief of Agogo, the climax of which will be in March this year. The Association noted that until both the Traditional Council and the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council flush out Fulani herdsmen from Agogo with immediate effect, as per a Kumasi High Court ruling on 20th January 2012, the planned activities will not take place. It added that, no citizen or person residing or doing business on Agogo land should sell food in any form, clothing, tools and implements of any kind to the Fulanis. Any citizen or person caught contravening this directive shall be considered an enemy of Agogo and would be treated like the Fulanis. The warning was given at a news conference held by the Association at Agogo. GBC
