Minister decries chieftaincy disputes in Ghana The Minister for Chieftaincy and Traditional Affairs, Dr Henry Seidu Daanaa has noted that violence and disputes cannot be options for the chieftaincy institution. According to the Minister, the chieftaincy institution remains a critical vehicle for effective socio-economic development. There is therefore the need for the structures inherent in that institution to function properly to deal with the many disputes bedeviling chieftaincy across the country. Dr. Daanaa made the call at the inauguration of two Traditional Councils in the Ashanti region. GBC
