IS in Afghanistan: We will bury them says President Ghani

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has promised to bury the Islamic State militant group, whose local offshoot has clashed with government forces and Taliban fighters. 

President Ghani said IS  is not an Afghan phenomenon and its atrocities have alienated the people. 

He described the war in his country as just one component of a wider war that also encompassed Pakistan.  

He suggested Pakistan should take action against Taliban groups that do not agree to talks and urged all Afghans to act together to preserve the state.
