Police to carry out recruitment exercise this year Acting Inspector General of Police, John Kudalor, has hinted that the service will carry out a recruitment exercise this year to augment its numbers in the country. He said for the past two years, the Police Administration could not recruit, a situation which has brought a shortfall in the system. Speaking to GBC's Radio Ghana in Accra, Mr. Kudalor said recruitment from henceforth will be done on-line to reduce human interference during the process. He said this year`s elections requires the Police administration to increase its personnel to maintain the peace before, during and after the exercise. Mr. Kudalor touched on some key issues to be addressed before elections. Key among them is the disbanding of illegal vigilante groups with political affiliation.
