TPGL remains a strong force in Ghana’s Energy Industry


Energy and Petroleum Minister Dr. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah has acknowledged Total Petroleum Ghana Ltd (TPGL) for their long term commitment to Ghana and emphasized the importance of Total’s commitment to better energy globally. 

The Minister underlined several projects that Government has undertaken in both the Upstream and Downstream sectors of Ghana’s Oil and Gas industry.

Dr. Armah-Kofi Buah said this when the M.D of Total Petroleum Ghana Ltd (TPGL) Mr. Olivier Van Parys, and Total’s Executive Vice President for West Africa Ada Eze, paid a courtesy call on him in Accra.

The meeting was to inform Dr. Buah about Ada Eze’s visit and also to update him about Total’s activities in the country for 2016.

Total Petroleum Ghana Limited (TPGL) is part of the global Total group, which is the fifth largest publicly-traded integrated international Oil and Gas Company in the world with presence in over 100 countries.
 
The company has been operating in Ghana for more than 50 years and has over 210 service stations across the eastern and southern corridors of Ghana.

Ada Eze and Mr. Olivier Van Parys thanked the Minister for the warm reception and assured him that Total will continue to remain a strong force in Ghana’s Energy Industry.

Other key dignitaries present were Benjamin Dagadu, Deputy Petroleum Minister, Prof. Thomas Mba Akabzaa, Chief Director of the Ministry, Mr. Emmanuel Menyah – Hughes, External Affairs Manager of Total Petroleum Ghana Ltd and Mr. Samba Seye.
