Sakara's resignation will affect CPP - Ben Ephson The Editor of the Daily Dispatch Newspaper and Polster, Ben Ephson, says the resignation of Dr Abu Sakara from the CPP is a big blow to the party. He said though Dr Sakara might not get enough votes in the 2016 election, he will be able to cause some damage to the two leading parties. Speaking on Uniiq FM's Breakfast Drive, Mr Ephson said one of the biggest problems of the CPP is its ideological standpoint which is not finding attraction among the youth. Meanwhile, the CPP says it has not been officially informed by Dr. Abu Sakara of his resignation. In an interview with Radio Ghana the Party's Communication Director, Kadi Abdul Rauf said, they were surprised when they heard the news in the media adding that no one in the CPP gave him a cause to take such a decision. Mr. Abdul Rauf said the party still considers Dr. Sakara as a card bearing member of the CPP. In a related development, the CPP scheduled a meeting today to take a decision on how to handle, Dr. Sakara's resignation, but had, to postpone it because majority of the party executives were not present.
