Neutrality and professionalism are expected from you, police told

The Dormaa Municipal Police Commander,Superintendent Washington Foli, has called on personnel of the service to exhibit a high sense of neutrality and professionalism this year.

He said a sense of responsibility is required from them to maintain the peace and stability in Dormaa – Ahenkro and its environs.

Superintendent Washington Foli was speaking at a forum held for officers of the Ghana Police Service in Dormaa – Ahenkro .

The occasion provided an opportunity for the officers to assess their strength, weaknesses and challenges encountered during 2015 and find ways to chart a new path that would enhance their performance.

He commended the officers for their vigilance and efforts in helping to maintain law and order in the area. 

He further called for unity among them and urged the officers to refrain from abusing their powers.

Assisitant Superintendent of Police, Samuel  Yebaoh, appealed to the officers to brace themselves up for the challenges to be encountered during this year's elections.

He appealed to the personnel to show respect and maintain good relationships with members of the public.
