GHS to constitute Committee to review appointment of new Medical Director for Ridge Hospital


The Director General of the Ghana Health Service Dr Ebenezer Appiah-Denkyira says the council of the service will soon constitute a committee to review the appointment of the new Medical Director of the Ridge Hospital Dr Thomas Anaba. 

This has become necessary following worker agitations at the hospital.  

Dr Appiah-Denkyira said the council will look into the issues raised by the workers to establish whether there is violation in the appointment process. 

The staff early this week petitioned management of the hospital and government demanding that a probe be conducted into the selection of the Medical Director citing breach of procedure.
