T-Poly student, one other drown on Christmas day

A 22 year-old Takoradi Polytechnic Student Bright Larbo and Nasiru Amoah, a 24 year-old Welder were drowned on  christmas eve at the Albert Bosomtwe beach at the Sekondi Fishing harbour.  The bodies of the two are reported to have been  washed ashore.

Eyewitnesses say they saw three persons drowning but with the help of some revellers, one of them only referred to as ‘BB’ was rescued.

The tragic incident was reported to the police who initiated a search and rescue mission with support from residents.

One of the victim Amoah, a Muslim was buried hours after his body was discovered, whilst the body of Bright has been deposited at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital morgue.
