Kumasi Central Prison to be relocated The Chairman of the Ghana Prisons Service Council, Reverend Dr. Stephen Wengam, says the Kumasi Central Prison will be relocated to ease the congestion and other related difficulties facing inmates of the facility. This follows the granting of five hundred acres of land by the Asantehene Ofumtuo Osei Tutu to the Prisons Service for that purpose. In an interview with Radio Ghana, Rev. Dr. Wengam was happy with the massive support being received by the Service after the launch of Project Efiase. GBC
