Power minister committed to 2015 deadline on load shedding 

The Minister of Power, Dr. Kwabena Donkor says he still stands by his word of ending load shedding by the end of this year. 

Appearing before the Government Assurances Committee of Parliament, the Power Minister said even though measures have been put in place to meet the deadline, barring unforeseen technical occurrences the time line might be pushed forward by some weeks into January.
 
Dr. Donkor also justified the AMERI contract saying it is the best value for the country. 

Dr. Donkor is on record as saying he will end Dumsor by the end of the year and possibly resign if the situation does not improve.
