Children and Tourism ministries to transform Children's Park


Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection says it will partner the Ministry of Tourism to transform the Efua Sunderland Children's Park into a public green space that will serve as an amusement park and tourism facility. 

Mrs. Nana Oye Lithur said this when she joined the children at the Junior Graphic Funfair for Children in Accra.


Nana Oye Lithur who is the sector minister said currently, renovation works and installation of play equipment is ongoing at the Park.

According to her, it is important that children have the best of environment to play, interact and learn. 

She said her Ministry has embarked on a Public Private Partnership to renovate all Children’s Parks in Ghana.

“Our goal is to make all Children’s Parks in Ghana world class centers of recreation.” She said
